qef - An architecture for a construction system

Conclusion

The major differences between qef and other construction systems is the separation of the parameters system (i.e., lclvrs), the flexible run-time script generation and preparation and the ability to specify the use of arbitrary back-end interpreters. While these unconventional approaches and the unfamiliar representations do present marketing problems, the resulting system does meet the objectives discussed in the first section. Testimonials from satisfied and enthusiastic users could be presented as a more objective defence of this claim, but will not be in the interest of ensuring that this paper does not appear to be a marketing document.
