Denver, Co -- 11/13/2001 -- Cleanscape Software International, a software development automation tools company, introduced Cleanscape Grayboxx, an advanced cross-platform software test automation system at the Super Computing Conference here today.
"Grayboxx was designed to provide an easy-to-use testing system with no learning curve, using the programmer's existing toolset," said Cleanscape President Chris Niggeler. "This makes Grayboxx a readily-adoptable system that will quickly become essential for programmers, developers, and testers. It's especially important for Fortran developers because it's the only commercially-available software test automation tool for Fortran applications."
Cleanscape Grayboxx provides software developers and test engineers an automatic method for testing software components, for measuring test effectiveness, and for verifying functional and structural performance requirements in mission critical applications. It allows developers to automatically: generate test cases, conduct coverage analysis with complexity metrics, conduct unit performance testing, generate test stubs, generate test harnesses, execute tests, prepare modules, and verify results. Cleanscape Grayboxx also allows for both full and partial regression testing.
Pricing and availability
Cleanscape Grayboxx will be available for purchase for Fortran application development in the first quarter of 2002 for Linux, Solaris, SGI, Unix, and Windows platforms. Cleanscape will introduce versions for Ada, C, Perl, and Assembly throughout 2002. The street price will start at $5,990 for a single-user license. Additional information is available on Cleanscape's website at http://www.cleanscape.net.
