Software Development Times featured Cleanscape in article about the growing Linux market and the tools available to facilitate Linux development. Following is an excerpt:
Don't Look Now: Linux Hits the Big Time
By Alan Zeichick
SAN JOSE, CA -- "'What's keeping Linux from getting out of the back office is that there aren't end-user applications,' said Brent Duncan, director of marketing for Cleanscape Software International, Inc. The biggest reason, he said, is a lack of an integrated development environment for Linux programmers.
"To that end, the start-up company, which acquired IPT Corp. (product and customer assets) in 1999, will be integrating its line of C and FORTRAN source analyzers (Cleanscape LintPlus & Cleanscape FortranLint), Cleanscape ectype code generator, test-automation suite, and Cleanscape qef build-management system. Those tools have already been ported to Linux. No date was set for the release of the integrated product suite, but Duncan hinted that it might be this year."
Note: All of Cleanscape's software development automation tools are now available for Linux!
